Hi!  I am Joe, Co-Founder and Senior Dispatcher. I started in this industry as a Truck Loader. While in college, I went to a job fair and a recruiter walked up to me, having seen my muscular body back then, saying “I have a job for you young man, that pays well and its only 4 hours a night.”  4 hours a night? I asked, “Sign me up!” It was at RPS Loading Dock (no longer exist) and the job was Truck Loader Position. It was 4 hours of Non-Stop loading several Straight Trucks and sometimes 48 feet Dry vans with HANDS. Working with Non-Stop conveyor belts was more intense than expected. You will get crushed if you don’t stack fast.  But it great muscle building job. We left the dock soaking wet with sweat every night. I cancelled my gym membership.  I became Supervisor after 4 months. Will  jump in where there was worker shortage.

After college, I joined a large manufacturing company as a Supply Chain Accountant and Logistics Accountant, reviewing and auditing carriers’ (Ground & Sea) invoices and other documents prior to payment.  I spent several years in Corporate America.

In 2018 I served as Independent Truck Agent for FAK (Freight All Kinds), finding shippers, negotiated rates and dispatching company trucks.

After that I got trained and certificated as an Independent Dispatcher.

With my experience in loading trucks, we only secure Hands-Free and Palletize Freight. Owner Operators will not pack or unload their trucks, except Flat-bed and Step-deck. On Flatbed you have to strap or secure the loads at times.

I don’t know everything in this industry, but the little I know, we do it well!
